Oh yes, my first dressing-of-the-bump picture. I have to admit, I feel more than slightly awkward posting a picture of me being pregnant because I HATE taking pictures of myself pregnant. I don’t know what my problem is…but I never feel pretty when I’m taking photos with a bump. I just feel like an awkward newborn calf stumbling over every step that I take (dramatic much?!). Before I announced my lovely surprise Monday, I was really contemplating if I really wanted to do fashion posts while pregnant…because it’s SO out of my comfort zone. But here we are people… Lauren as a pregnant person wearing a fabulous red dress she’s going to continue to wear even after the bumpage is gone.

Even though maternity clothes are my least favorite clothing, I have noticed this time around that there are a TON of cute options out there now! I have kind of loved shopping around for cute clothing to dress the bump. When I saw this red dress, I was in awe because it’s so freaking adorable…how could this be a maternity dress?! I instantly fell in love and I decided to get it…and I love it.

As I continue to teach myself to dress this cute baby bump of mine, I will be sharing other non-maternity options for those that aren’t pregnant, just so we can all look fabulous! I hope you guys enjoy my journey of dressing the bump, attempting to wear cute outfits, and giggling at myself while I do it!
