One of my goals this year was to find ways to remix my wardrobe, so I didn’t spend as much money on new clothing. I have enough clothing as it is…and a lot of stuff doesn’t get worn year round! This week, I decided to tackle the color mustard yellow.
Mustard yellow is a must during the fall. It goes so well with the changing leaves and the cooler air. I am personally obsessed with the color mustard, and I can’t get enough of it!
Since this color is synonymous with the Fall season, I wanted to try to mix and match it with some more spring colors. After playing around with it, I realized it is an AMAZING color to wear in the spring and summer! I can’t get enough!!
Today’s look is quite simple to achieve. I wore a patterned mustard skirt with a brighter (more of a spring appropriate) teal color. This makes the mustard color feel brighter and more like a spring yellow! The patterns also helped the yellow to pop! I am in love with this look, and I can’t stop wearing it!
I’ve linked a ton of similar options below the pictures and at the bottom of the post, so you can recreate this look!
Enjoy!
Ps: tune in tomorrow for part II 😉
